I’m not quite sure where we go from here
Or if you've changed your mind about me
I’ve been feeling kind of funny
Since you kissed me

God you really blew my mind
I think I’m crazy
My memory lies
Your soft lips
Never did touch mine

I don’t want to push you
To decide right now
If I’m worth a change
You have to figure that out alone

So I’ll keep my cool
And my feelings to myself
Until you let me know what you think of us
Cuddled up close
Clothes on the floor

I’m so unsure
I’m troubled
All these men
It’s hard to know
Who to trust
Who to get close to

I respect you and care for you
There’s nothing I don’t like
You’re the sweetest man
More than you realize

Your dark eyes mesmerize me
I want to hold you tight
But you stand stiffly
Like there’s a battle for your life
Constantly guarding
Letting no one in

So I mask my feelings for you
And I play hard to get
But it doesn’t work with you
You touch me and I’m yours

Why do I bother when you told me from the start
There’s no chance for me to steal your heart

Things have changed a lot
Now were lovers and friends
I trust you and that may be my end

And then you kissed me
And left so much on my mind
Was it the heat of passion
A passing affliction
Or something you've wanted to do

I’ll just be cool about it
Try to forget about it
Until you decide
