Tomorrow

Tomorrow
The sun will shine again
Birds will spread their wings
The wind will blow a breeze
And you’ll be here with me

Tomorrow
Will we feel the same?
Will they take the blame?
Will it will be okay?

Tomorrow
The voices will say
“Come back, don’t turn away.”
What will we say?

Tomorrow
Our families will cry
They will try to stop us
Will it work?

Tomorrow
I’ll think of today
While you’re doing the same
And we’ll say
“Friend, it’s okay.”

Tomorrow
We’ll be two more faces in the crowd
Kids going to school
A pair of madcaps in the masses

Tomorrow
We’ll wake up
Tomorrow
We’ll grow up
But what if tomorrow never comes?
At least I’ll know we tried

So forget about the wanting, the longing
There’s nothing worth that pain
Until my time on earth isn't sorrow
I’ll keep looking for
Our tomorrow.
