Can you understand 
How foolishly, devotedly a woman loves a man
With every breath
With every heartbeat
I love you more

I understood the day I met you
That someday I would love you
It seemed almost meant to be
The way you looked at me

But now gray skies roll overhead
And it rains most everyday
You push me further and further away

But even when times are rough
A woman, foolish woman, she loves 

So my love, lets close the door
Lock out the sound of the raging storm
And hold each other till it dissipates

You can’t stop my love from believing 
In the foolish happy ending
Even in hard times
I trust we’ll be fine

I knew the day I met you
That I would fall in love with you
I saw my future in your eyes
And it was beautiful
And so, I'll always be
Foolishly in love with you.
