Call It Life

Trapped within an insane world
Chaos at every turn
Roads run wild with never ending swirls
Rage inside like too quiet seas
That heavy sensation
The madness is coming
I fight to retain my will and try to believe
Someday they will believe
Someday they too will see
The raging waters part from shore to shore

Fairies stand on pointed toes on finger tips
Basking in unearthly glow

Everyone wants to seek out chaos and thrill
When for one minute I’d love my chaotic mind to still

Stand beneath a willow tree
Call the corners and feel the wind breathe
Inside the emotional enclosures
Exists the road that never ends

Cataclysms happen everyday
Chalk the lines
It adds up to be clear
The world turns despite our fears

Each new day comes and goes
And years go by with the urge
To recognize your own dreams
And rarely ever do we see
The angry turmoil of another’s strife

Wild emotions trapped inside
A hollow shell of a human being
And we call it life.
